AJ is 15 Months Old!

He's walking, he's talking, he's into everything, and he is so cute that I can't stand it!
"Huh? Yeah, be right with ya.... Just grabbing a quick snack here before Mom realizes I got into the frig..."

Carlos & JC's First Soccer Game

GOOOOOOAL!!!!!!!!
Carlos scored the very first goal on his team in the first game. He is fast! As you can see, there was no one on the other team that could keep up with him once he took the ball and ran to the goal with it. Daddy & Mommy were just a little proud. :-)

Carlos Turns 6!

Our Super-kid is 6 years old!

Crazy Hair Day

A crazy little kid deserves a crazy little hairstyle!
(Think it is time for a haircut yet??)

The First Day of School

Well, this was a big day for us! On the same morning, Carlos started Kindergarten and Danny started Preschool. Both were so excited that they just couldn't stand it. They woke up early and ready to go, and Carlos was practically dancing in the driveway while he waited for the school bus! The only tears came when Danny realized that he wouldn't be going on the bus with Carlos. :-) Carlos is enrolled in the Dual Language Program through the school district, so his class is taught bilingually. He rides the bus with two of his best friends at school, Diego and Alejandro, and comes home everyday with stories about them and how much fun he has at school! Danny is going to St Luke's, which is the same place that Carlos went. He even has the same teacher that Carlos had. He loves going to school too, and has never once been clingy at the door or hesitated at all. Just walks right in and makes himself at home! Danny attends two days a week, but that is enough for him, as it wears him out! Even though he gave up naps months ago, he usually takes a nap on school days, and still falls asleep easily at night. Gotta love that.

The Soccer Team!

Here they are...! Carlos' first soccer team! This picture was taken in August at their very first practice. They are... Carlos, Conner, Tommy, Gabby, Evan and Jaron, with Coach Emily on the right side. Coach JC is unfortunately absent from this picture because he was busy coaching, I guess. There is one other girl on the team (Lilly) but she wasn't there that day. The kids are doing GREAT and really perfecting their moves. And JC is having an AWESOME time coaching... he is SO made to do this. The kids learn alot from him and he just has so much fun with them!

Carlos & his bike

Well, Carlos finally wore the tread off his training wheels, so now we are teaching him to ride a two-wheeler on his own. So far, so good. It will take awhile for him to get the hang of it, but he is pretty excited about it!

We Love Gogurt!

AJ helped himself to a tube of Gogurt one day... and thoroughly enjoyed trying to feed himself!

AJ's Big Owie

8/9/2006 AJ did a nosedive out of the back of the pick up truck and landed on his head in the street! He had a nice set of bruises for awhile. Like they say, the youngest kid grows up the toughest!

My Birthday

JC and the boys took me out to my favorite Mexican restaurant for my birthday this year. My BIG gift was a new camera... one I had been drooling over forever. It is going to take us awhile to get used to it... so many cool features that you have to know how to use, not just "point and shoot"! :-) Anyhow, here is Carlos and me at the restaurant!

Our Vacation in June

OK, so I have been a little negligent on my blog. Once I got it set up, I didn't add anything really and now I have alot of catching up to do. Three months have passed... the whole summer, vacations, and the boys are now in school! In June we took a long vacation... the boys and I went to California to see Aunt Kathy and Grandma & Grandpa. Danny fell the first morning and cut his pinky finger pretty bad, but the rest of the trip went pretty well! JC and his dad went to Europe for 10 days to see two World Cup games, and they had an AWESOME time. He still grins real big when asked about that trip. Then JC joined us in San Diego for Carl's graduation
