In November, we drove to Ohio to visit my family. My boys had a blast wrestling with their cousins Eli and Jarrod. In the second picture, my newest nephew Matthew looks like he is trying to wrestle with his daddy (my brother)! Third, is Jarrod with his mom/my sister Debbie with my cousin Barb. Debbie's daughter Amber is the beautiful girl in the last picture.

Superheroes Unite!
We had a visit from some superheroes today... :-) Carlos, Danny & AJ tried on their costumes and went to a Halloween party. AJ has a mask for the costume, but refused to put it on... sunglasses were as close as we could get! Spiderman and Batman had a blast being dressed up and can't wait to really go trick or treating! AJ even carries around his pumpkin basket and says "Treee"! (treat)

Coach JC
JC absolutely loved coaching! He was great at it too. The kids really learned alot and had a blast. They won their final game 7-6 and then celebrated by going to McDonald's to eat and play. Carlos looked forward to playing so much, that for the last two weeks, he couldn't sleep the night before his games! Then, on the way to the playing fields, he was just exploding with noise and motion in the van... psyching himself up to play, I guess. I am just glad that Carlos loved playing and that he did well, and JC gets the credit for that.
Danny's Soccer Class
Danny had a great time at his soccer class this year! On the last day, they did the traditional "Kids vs. Parents" game and showed off their stuff for mom and dad. (That's why JC is in the pictures)
Meanwhile, Carlos and AJ had a great time playing on the playground next to the field, even on the cold days.

EXCITING NEWS!
No picture for this, but this biggest news that we have to share is... We're having another baby! Baby #4 is due on May 2nd! Total shock to all of us, but still very exciting. It will probably be another boy, and we are happy with that. I figure, if I am having 4 kids, then having all boys will keep things a little simpler. We told the boys and the family a couple weeks ago. It has really been fun watching people's reactions! Most people can't contain their shock at all. And then, inevitably, they assume we tried for a girl, or that we "need" a girl. Of course, a daughter would be fun, but let's be realistic... the odds are just against us!! And we really are happy with our boys. Another one would just add to the fun.

The First Day of School
Well, this was a big day for us! On the same morning, Carlos started Kindergarten and Danny started Preschool. Both were so excited that they just couldn't stand it. They woke up early and ready to go, and Carlos was practically dancing in the driveway while he waited for the school bus! The only tears came when Danny realized that he wouldn't be going on the bus with Carlos. :-) Carlos is enrolled in the Dual Language Program through the school district, so his class is taught bilingually. He rides the bus with two of his best friends at school, Diego and Alejandro, and comes home everyday with stories about them and how much fun he has at school!
Danny is going to St Luke's, which is the same place that Carlos went. He even has the same teacher that Carlos had. He loves going to school too, and has never once been clingy at the door or hesitated at all. Just walks right in and makes himself at home! Danny attends two days a week, but that is enough for him, as it wears him out! Even though he gave up naps months ago, he usually takes a nap on school days, and still falls asleep easily at night. Gotta love that.
The Soccer Team!
Here they are...! Carlos' first soccer team! This picture was taken in August at their very first practice. They are... Carlos, Conner, Tommy, Gabby, Evan and Jaron, with Coach Emily on the right side. Coach JC is unfortunately absent from this picture because he was busy coaching, I guess. There is one other girl on the team (Lilly) but she wasn't there that day. The kids are doing GREAT and really perfecting their moves. And JC is having an AWESOME time coaching... he is SO made to do this. The kids learn alot from him and he just has so much fun with them!

AJ's Big Owie
My Birthday
JC and the boys took me out to my favorite Mexican restaurant for my birthday this year. My BIG gift was a new camera... one I had been drooling over forever. It is going to take us awhile to get used to it... so many cool features that you have to know how to use, not just "point and shoot"! :-) Anyhow, here is Carlos and me at the restaurant!
Our Vacation in June
OK, so I have been a little negligent on my blog. Once I got it set up, I didn't add anything really and now I have alot of catching up to do. Three months have passed... the whole summer, vacations, and the boys are now in school! In June we took a long vacation... the boys and I went to California to see Aunt Kathy and Grandma & Grandpa. Danny fell the first morning and cut his pinky finger pretty bad, but the rest of the trip went pretty well! JC and his dad went to Europe for 10 days to see two World Cup games, and they had an AWESOME time. He still grins real big when asked about that trip. Then JC joined us in San Diego for Carl's graduation

More Birthdays!!!
Last Friday we went to Chuck E Cheese's to celebrate lots of birthdays! Our friend Abbey turns 3 next weekend, and Danny's 3rd birthday is the 19th. Abbey wanted a Princess birthday, and Danny had his Batman Birthday Party. And not to be forgotten, AJ's first birthday is coming up on the 17th. He LOVED the cake! I know that Disney World is supposed to be the happiest place on Earth, but Chuck E Cheese's sure can make kids happy too!
Happy 34th JC!
